Hello, everyone! Today I'm back with some book recommendations.
For those who know me well, you know I LOVE books. Reading is my favorite. However, I know there are many people who DON'T like reading. I might be able to change that.
I have made a list of books that I think new readers (and book lovers) will enjoy! If the list is short, it's because I only picked series I love, LOVE. That I will re-read over and over.
Let's begin, shall we?
THE RENEGADES TRILOGY BY MARISSA MEYER
If you're not familiar with what a trilogy is, it's a series that comprises three books.
This trilogy is AMAZING. I am not even kidding, it could be close to Harry Potter. And that's saying something.
These books are full of twist and turns, action, a little romance, and SO MANY PLOTWISTS. This is a series where I am not sure which book is my favorite. I would read the next book and immediately think it was better than the previous one.
It's about a girl who's on the opposite side of the well-known vigilantes called Renegades. Her team decides to put her up as a spy, disguising as a Renegade.
Try it! If you're hesitant, just go for it. Next to Harry Potter, I would say this is a brilliant series for new readers.
OUT OF MY MIND BY SHARON M. DRAPER
This book is AMAZING. If you're into audiobooks, this book has a great narrator! If you're not familiar with this book, it's about a girl who is paralyzed and cannot talk. (Similar to the famous Stephen Hawking). This book follows her journey through years of tough times and her thriving. It's amazing, I highly recommend it.
THE LUNAR CHRONICLES BY MARISSA MEYER
Marissa Meyer is an amazing author. No doubt about it. She also wrote a series called The Lunar Chronicles, which is easily as good as the Renegades trilogy. It's a dystopian retelling of famous fairytales that all connect in an amazing story.
This series comprises four books: Cinder (Cinderella), Scarlet (Red Riding Hood), Cress (Rapunzel), and Winter (Snow White). Also, she has added a few "extra" books. Stars Above is about some short stories about each of the characters, and the other one is about the villain and how she came to be.
This series is absolutely amazing. It has plenty of romance, but also amazing action! It's just so good! I got my sister hooked.
GOOSE GIRL BY SHANNON HALE
There are three books in this trilogy, however, I didn't like the other too much. Goose Girl alone was good enough for me. This book is about a princess. ...That's all I can tell you without spoiling it, lol. Sorry!
